OPTION 1: CPR/BLS Renewal Health Care Provider
- Cost: $50 SCPhA Members | $75 Non-Members
- This course is for those who hold an American Heart Association (AHA) Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Basic Life Support (BLS) Providers card which is due to expire.
- The following conditions determine eligibility for this course:
- Your current certification is from American Heart Association only and says BLS Provider
- Your current card is not expired prior to course date (certifications good through last day of expiration month).
Please note that your CPR card will be in e-card format per AHA standards and will be issued within 3 business days of successful course completion.
OPTION 2: CPR/BLS Health Care Provider Skills Checkoff
- Cost: $25 SCPhA Members | $50 Non-Members
- This hands-on skills check-off is for healthcare providers seeking certification who have completed the AHA HeartCode Online BLS Part 1 course within the last sixty days. Course includes skills checks in Adult, Child, and Infant basic life support with AED.
- After completing the online portion, you must print your Certificate of Course Completion and bring a copy of the certificate to your skills check-off session (completion date must be within 60 days of skills check session). Participants who successfully complete the course and the skills check-off will receive an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider card via email link.
- Please remember that you MUST complete the online portion and bring the PRINTED Certificate of Completion to the skills check-off. The instructor cannot perform the skills check-off unless you provide documentation of completion of the online portion of the course. BLS card will be issued within 3 business days of successful skills check session.
- Notes: MUST have already completed the online portion and bring Certificate of Completion to the skills check-off.
