2023 Nomination Form

Interested in holding a leadership position on SCPhA’s Board of Directors?
Nomination form must be received prior to March 1st.

The following Board of Director positions are open for nominations: President-Elect, Treasurer, Member-at-Large, Upstate Region Director, PeeDee Region Director, and Speaker-Elect. The House is looking to fill Upstate delegate positions and PeeDee delegate positions. Number of representatives are to be determined based on number of members in each region. To determine your SCPhA region, please see below. If you are interested nominating yourself or another individual for one of the open leadership positions, you will need to get 15 (for Board of Directors) or 5 (for delegates) signatures from active members prior to March 1st. Candidates may also be slated by nomination from the floor of the House of Delegates, with the approval of the House, or through nomination by mail, accompanied by the signatures of no less than fifteen active members in good standing, prior to March 1st of each year.

Determine your Region

The four Region Directors, whose duties are specified in Article II Section 6 of the Bylaws, shall serve two-year terms of office with Pee Dee and Upstate Region Directors elected in odd numbered years and the Midlands and Low Country Directors elected in the even numbered years. A Region Director and delegates to the House of Delegates shall be elected by the active Association members residing in that region of the state. The Regions are designated as follows:

2023 Election Information

Voting will be open from April 1– April 30.
Bios will be available on the secure voting site. 

Voter Eligibility

In order to vote, you must be an ACTIVE member of SCPhA. This means you must be a current member of SCPhA,

AND

You must be one of the following member types:

• Full Member (includes Friend, Leader and Visionary levels)
• Vested Member
• Life Member
• Spouse/Joint Member
• First Year Member
• Retired Member

Timeline

You will receive an email that contains your Member ID and the link to our secure election website. You will need your Member ID and email (if you do not have an email use noemail@scrx.org) in order to log in to the secure election website. The site will not open until April 1 at 8:00 am.

April 1
Voting will officially open at 8 am.

April 30
Deadline to vote. Email reminder will be sent first thing in the morning.  Online polls will close at midnight. Votes will be tallied by the third party company.  Results will be sent to the SCPhA CEO in a sealed envelope.

June
SCPhA’s House of Delegates will meet at our Annual Convention. The candidates for the Speaker-Elect of the House of Delegates will have opportunity to speak to the delegates
