Who We Are
The Academy of Long-Term Care Pharmacists was formed with the purpose of representing the needs of long-term care pharmacies. The Academy was formed by the SCPhA to form a unified voice to better represent those in long-term care. The only way this will be successful and effective is if ALL long-term care pharmacists join the Academy.

About
The SCPhA encourages support of the ASCP and other national organizations that represent the needs of long-term care pharmacists. ASCP is a membership association that represents pharmacists, health care professionals, and students serving the unique medication needs of older adults. ASCP is an international organization with members located in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and 12 countries. The society’s mission is to promote healthy aging by empowering pharmacists with education, resources, and innovative opportunities.
Founded in 1969, ASCP is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization based in Alexandria, Virginia. The ASCP Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization; its purpose is to carry out the charitable – including scientific, literary, and educational – purposes of ASCP.
We want all of you to thrive and continue to grow. We ask that you join the SCPhA if you have not already done so. We also ask that you join the Academy for long-term care pharmacists. The SCPhA renewal is $150 per year and the Academy fee is TBD. If you have a partner or someone with a vested interest in your pharmacy encourage them to join as well. This is without a doubt the most important investment you can make to protect your future. Please encourage your long-term care colleagues to invest in the future of long-term care pharmacists.
